During my holidays I was invited for the launch of the Professional Futsal League in Orlando, USA. This was graced with an exhibition game between two teams; the “Falcao” team and the “Ricardinho” team. Also they played under new rules: the best one in my opinion is that the sliding is not allowed anymore. This is something which I support for 100%. Furthermore they played 4 x 12 minutes and the keeper was not allowed to throw the ball over the midline.
Also I was invited in Madison/Wisconsin to conduct a clinic. Here I saw that there must be a huge potential for Youth Futsal in the USA.
Ok, back now in Europe. Time to figure out what I really would like to do in the future beside the courses for FIFA/AFC/UEFA.
