Now that the U20 team is back in Indonesia after a successful tournament in Bangkok, I hope that the PSSI an FFI will sit together for an evaluation. If Indonesia wants to catch up with the top countries in the near future I think we need a competition for this age group. You can’t compete without competition and international friendly games. Let’s wait if they’ll follow my advice.
For the National Team I’ve put the start on July 3rd. The first three weeks the fitness coach from Racing Genk Belgium will come to Indonesia. This coach also helped me in the past to prepare the Thai Women Football Team for the World Cup in Canada. I have invited 31 players of which 22 will stay for a longer period for training.
Now enjoying just a little while my holiday in Holland and then the 23rd back to Indonesia. In good spirits and with a loaded battery for the three upcoming tournaments: SEA Games in August in Kuala Lumpur-Malaysia, Asian Indoor Games in September in Asjchabad-Turkmenistan and the AFF Tournament in Ho Chi Minh-Vietnam to qualify for the AFC Tournament.
